A persona is a named identity that bundles login credentials and notes about an account's state (for example, which plan it's on or whether an integration is installed). Teams create personas to represent the different user profiles they need when recording flows or generating documentation. You can manage personas from the Personas tab inside your team dashboard.
Open the create-persona dialog
Navigate to the Personas page and click New Persona. A dialog opens with fields for the persona's name, state notes, and login credentials.

Fill in the persona details
Enter a descriptive name in the Name field. This label identifies the persona across your team's dashboard, so pick something that conveys the role or account type at a glance (e.g., "Growth-plan admin").

In the State Notes field, describe the account conditions this persona represents. Include details like the subscription plan, whether specific integrations are installed, or any other context someone would need before using this persona (e.g., "Org on the Growth plan; GitHub App not installed").

Enter the persona's login email address in the Login Email field.

Enter the persona's password in the Password field.

Once all fields are filled in, click Create to save the persona. It will appear in the list on the Personas page, ready for your team to use.
